The foundation aims to to facilitate research and raise public awareness of endometriosis, specifically in schools and other educational facilities, with the main focus on educating young girls and women. Educational and supportive services are provided by the organisation to persons with endometriosis, specifically via our in-house support group.

Dr Rizwana Roomaney is a research psychologist and lecturer in the Psychology department at Stellenbosch University. She has worked in the field of reproductive health for a number of years and developed health-related quality of life measure for women with endometriosis. She has a special interest is in quality of life, pain and psychological well-being among women with endometriosis.
Dr Heylen is a specialist in reproductive endoscopic surgery (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy) and reproductive medicine. Dr Heylen is registered as an obstetrician and gynaecologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and as a Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine with the same body. Dr Heylen is a member of SASREG (South African Society of Reproductive medicine and Gynaecological Endoscopy).
Dr Viju Thomas is a qualified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist an academic unit at Tygerberg hospital, University of Stellenbosch After completing his postgraduate training at the University of Cape Town, he was accepted to go to the United Kingdom for advanced training in laparoscopy. He successfully completed his training and was granted a degree of Master in Advanced Gynaecological surgery. Doctor Thomas uses his skills to improve the quality of life of those patients who do not have access to the private health care and provide training to surgeons wishing to offer advanced laparoscopic procedures to their patients. Doctor Thomas started, and heads the first and only African University accredited Advanced Laparoscopic training unit (Minimal Access Gynaecology Surgery Unit [MAGS]) at The University of Stellenbosch, Tygerberg Hospital in 2016. Along with the MAGS program he started a tertiary referral centre dedicated to endometriosis patients at Tygerberg hospital. Doctor Thomas is pleased to serve on select local and international boards and societies dedicated to advanced surgical training and optimization of patient care.
Dr Femi Olarogun is a specialist in reproductive medicine with a special interest in infertility and endoscopic surgery and has a sub-specialist interest in reproductive medicine and surgery.
